This treatment, applied to the Thermae Platystomou Wellness Resort & Spa, aims to effectively combat muscular and rheumatic pains, inflammatory rheumatic diseases, sciatica, back pain and musculoskeletal disorders. One of the most reliable ways to utilize thermal water in the body is hydrotherapy, in the pool. The pool for these treatments features hydromassage and air massage seats with the following methods :

ORIENTAL HAMMAM

THERAPEUTIC BATH WITH THERMAL WATER 

The thermal bath is recommended mainly for the treatment of rheumatic diseases. This method, which we apply in Thermae Platystomo , eases from the pain, decreases the inflammations, improves the mobility of articulations and softens permanent problems of infirmity.    duration 20 min.

 

INDIVIDUAL THERAPEUTIC HYDRO MASSAGE

The bath, with honey and milk, combined with thermal water, gives a wonderful sense of harmony and balance. Duration 20.

 

SPA JET THERMOTHERAPY HYDRO MASSAGE  (Time 20΄)

It is the increase of body temperature technically. It has been proved that the rise of body temperature by 1˚ C, increases metabolism 15% roughly, and respectively, 3˚ C increases the metabolism 45% roughly.  The jet hydro massage arouses locally the circulation of blood, and oxygenates the skin increasing its natural elasticity. It is also used effectively against cellulite and local thickness.
